The planned concert by American rockers Orson for the Save the Millers Campaign has been postponed.
The band's charity concert was set to take place on Wednesday 12 April at the Magna Centre in Rotherham.
But now, at the request of Rotherham United the gig will be rescheduled for later in the year.
Orson have developed strong links with the Millers in the last month following their appearance on Sky's Soccer AM programme. Since then they have taken up a number of opportunities to show their support for the League One club and its fight to raise much needed funds.
Millers chairman Denis Coleman said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to put the concert on hold. Orson have been very understanding about this and have agreed to postpone the gig. We are very grateful to the band for their support and look forward to the concert later in the year.
"We can only apologise to everyone who have already bought tickets. Any tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date, details of which will be announced shortly. Tickets will be refunded from the point of purchase for anyone unable to attend the rescheduled gig."
