Blade bids to help the Millers

Posted on: Wed 29 Mar 2006

Presentation

A life-long Sheffield United fan has helped boost the Save the Millers Campaign by buying a Sheffield United shirt on Ebay!

The Blades shirt had been signed and donated to the Save the Millers Campaign by Hollywood film star and ardent Blades fan Sean Bean and was also signed by Neil Warnock and the United players.

Eric Wells kindly placed a winning bid of £720 for the shirt and was presented with the framed shirt by Rotherham United sales manager Carol Rockett at Bramall Lane.

Carol said: "The shirt attracted lots of bids and we are very grateful to Sean Bean for donating the shirt and also to Mr Wells for his kind donation to the Save the Millers Campaign."
