Orson gig in aid of Save The Millers
American Rock group Orson are showing their support for Rotherham United by staging a gig in aid of the Save the Millers Campaign.
The concert will take place at the Magna Centre in Rotherham on Wednesday 12th April. Doors open at 7.30pm. The Band became Millers supporters recently following their appearance on Sky's Soccer AM programme. The group were asked to pick a team to support at random and they pulled Rotherham United out of the hat.
Hailing from Hollywood, California, Orson topped the charts last weekend with their song 'No Tomorrow' and they will be performing their smash hit single along with other tracks from their album, Bright Idea, at the gig.
Orson have now become Rotherham United fans and are showing their support for the Millers by staging a gig. The club is extremely grateful that the band are taking time out from their busy touring schedule to support the Save The Millers Campaign.
Rotherham United Chairman, Denis Coleman, said: "We are delighted that Orson have agreed to stage a gig for the Save the Millers Campaign.
"Although we have taken over at the club, fundraising for the Millers is still very much on going and we hope that the Orson gig will raise much needed funds. We are very grateful to the band for taking the time out of their busy touring schedule to support the Save the Millers Campaign and hope that our fans will repay the Orson's generosity by attending the gig."
