Marc Newsham

Last Tuesday night 18-year-old Marc Newsham made his full first team debut after previously being restricted to coming on from the substitutes' bench.
He played the full 90 minutes and he reflected: "It was a good experience, I have been working hard when playing for the reserves and just waited for my chance that came on Tuesday night.
"I was up front on my own and I was up against two big lads so I just had to try and do my best. I was happy with my performance, especially in the first half when I did well for the goal and that gave me confidence.
"But in the second half I didn't really get much of the ball and when Town scored we were under the cosh a lot. I still tried to work hard although I ran out of steam a bit towards the end.
"My best position is up front and I don't mind being there on my own, you just have to do your best and make runs into the channels. I always hoped I could make a first team breakthrough this season although I knew I would have to wait for my chance with other players in front of me.
"It's good to train with the first team all the time as you get used to the tempo and that helped me on Tuesday night so hopefully I will soon get another chance."
