Ronnie Moore has revealed that he may look to use the loan system after the transfer window slammed shut yesterday evening with no players arriving or departing Don Valley Stadium.
Ronnie admitted it was a frustrating day in the transfer market as he still looks to bolster his squad with a striker still on his list of priorities.
"It was a frustrating day more than anything," said Ronnie.
"We are lucky in a way because we can still use the loan system so maybe that is the road we go down. I was disappointed that we couldn't get another striker in, I would have liked to bring Ian in but Tranmere wouldn't shift on their valuation. You never know in football in a week's time much can change but if it is a dead duck deal then we will look somewhere else."
The Millers safely made their way into round two of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after a 1-0 win over Lincoln City last night at Don Valley.
