Millers introduce Don Valley ticket operation

Posted on: Mon 30 Aug 2010

Rotherham United have introduced a new system where supporters can purchase tickets for the following home games at Don Valley Stadium on matchdays.

Commencing from tomorrow nights Johnstone's Paint Trophy match against Lincoln City supporters will be able to purchase tickets for the next home game against Burton Albion on Saturday 11th September.

Tickets are available from the Red and White Shop which is situated on the concourse of Don Valley Stadium. Supporters need to be aware that tickets cannot be purchased for specific seats and will be for block six upper only.

"Following a meeting that the Chairman and I had with the Supporters Trust on Thursday this was a suggestion that was made on improving excess for ticketing purchases for forthcoming home fixtures," said Commercial Director Steve Coakley.

"As with any suggestion on improvements in all areas of the Club it is considered and then, if practical and achievable, implemented.

"Whilst it is appreciated that it is not a fully integrated system and supporters will not have the ability to choose a specific seat, it does nevertheless provide the opportunity to purchase match tickets for the following home fixture whilst already being at Don Valley Stadium."

There are now a number of different ways for you to purchase your Rotherham United home tickets. You can use the online ticket option at www.rotherhamunitedshop.co.uk, purchase your tickets from the ticket office at Mangham House, buy your tickets on the day or use the new option of buying on matchdays at Don Valley.
