A youthful looking Rotherham United team were narrowly defeated 1-0 at Stocksbridge Park Steels last night.

The Millers included reserve 'keeper Jamie Annerson, new pro Grant Darley and player/coach Paul Warne in the squad, with the rest made up of the Millers youth team.

The Millers were defeated by a solitary strike by Brett Lovell, whilst Mark Ward also hit the bar for the home side.

Rotherham's final pre-season friendly is at Tamworth at The Lamb Ground this Saturday. The match is pay on the day only.
