Posted on: Thu 21 May 2009

Former Millers Rob Scott and Paul Hurst have continued their impressive start to their managerial careers by being appointed joint first team managers at Boston United.

The duo successfully guided Ilkeston Town to promotion to the Blue Square North through the play-offs last season.Their tenure at Ilkeston was always uncertain as they were appointed in a caretaker capacity to replace the Mansfield-bound David Holdsworth in January.

Boston are currently in the Northern Premier League and the duo are charged with the long-term aim of bring league football back to the Jakemans Stadium.
