Mark Robins post Dagenham
Mark Robins had mixed feelings after his side ground out a 1-1 draw away at Dagenham and Redbridge.
After the game the Millers manager said:
"It was a really good first half performance and we could have been six goals in front by half time. We did everything but score and with the chances we missed we could have won the game three times over."
Robins continued:
"They got a chance and to be fair it was a brilliant finish and that is what happens when you don't take your chances. If we had finished our opportunities like that then we would have been out of sight by half time."
Despite the Millers missed chances Robins was still happy to take a point off a team that are unbeaten at home so far this season:
"I was pleased that we came from a goal down and gained a point away from home at a place where teams have struggled to get anything, said Robins.
"On the other hand with the chances we had we should have been on level points but we will try and get into plus points next Saturday."
The game saw striker Mark Burchill grab his first ever Millers goal and Robins was delighted for his summer signing:
"I was pleased to see Mark Burchill get off the mark and get the equalising goal, he said.
"Mark has been eager to play and he has not come here to sit on the bench, but the lads in the team have done well to keep him out. The goal today will give Mark a real boost and hopefully he will carry that confidence into future games."
