There is another signing to announce at Rotherham United this afternoon with 20-year-old Tom Cahill having put pen to paper to sign a two year deal with the Millers after successfully completing his medical.

He is a striker who has been with Matlock Town where he was watched by Millers boss Mark Robins who commented: "I was very impressed when I watched him at Matlock so he was invited to play for our reserves in the last game at Scunthorpe. In that game he played a major role in a comprehensive Rotherham win.

"He did very well again so we have snapped him up and he will now join us when we return for pre-season training."

Cahill has recently been studying hard and he has completed a law degree but he is now anxious to turn his hand to football.
