Rotherham United battled to a deserved point following a 0-0 draw away at high flying Wycombe Wanderers.
The Millers made changes after their defeat to Scunthorpe on Tuesday. Cup tied Jamie Clarke was back in the starting line up, alongside Simon Thomas who replaced Drewe Broughton, and Micky Cummins replaced Jason Taylor.
The game got off to a scrappy start for both teams, before the Millers had the first chance of the game. Jamie Clarke found enough space to take a shot at goal on his weaker left foot, forcing a save from Wycombe 'keeper Jamie Young.
Wycombe's first chance came in the 11th minute after a terrible back pass from captain Pablo Mills, which put keeper Andy Warrington under pressure, and allowed Matt Bloomfield a shot at goal. but the ball was always going wide.
The 18th minute saw Bloomfield have a second chance to put his side ahead, but a poor shot on his right foot saw the ball go way off target. A penalty claim came for Wycombe in the 26th minute after Matt Phillips was taken down just inside the penalty box. Arguably a decision that may have been given on another day.
The first big chance of the game came in the 32nd minute. Craig Woodman made a great cross back to Matt Harrold who headed the ball towards goal, and it required a great save form Warrington to prevent the ball hitting the back of the net.
A perfectly timed tackle from Mills on Phillips prevented Wycombe the opportunity of another opening. The speedy winger got away from Hudson and into the penalty area, before Mills made the crucial tackle.
Marc Joseph was lucky to escape a yellow card in the 40th minute after he brought down Phillips outside the penalty box, five yards in from the right hand touch line. Tommy Doherty took the free kick with a short pass to Phillips who managed to strike the ball through a mass of bodies, but the ball flew pass Warrington and wide.
The brightest player of the game Phillips, had the last chance of the first half as he struck the ball from inside the penalty area, but he couldn't keep it down, and it went flying over the crossbar.

Wycombe got off to a bright start in the second half and had a great chance in the 50th minute. Gary Holt hammered the ball towards Rotherham's goal and with Warrington beaten, it was left for Cummins to clear it off the line. Had he not been there to make the clearance, undoubtedly Warrington would have been picking the ball up from the back of the net.
The Millers start to the second half was anything but convincing, but ten minutes in they began to settle. Hudson created their first chance with a good burst forward, but he never got hold of the ball properly and the shot was wide.
A great ball in from Joseph saw the ball perfectly placed for substitute Drewe Broughton who was able to get his head under it, forcing Wycombe keeper Jamie Young to make a crucial save on his line. Clearly the Millers best chance of the game so far.
Wycombe were beginning to look the better of the two teams, with Rotherham struggling to clear their lines. They nearly paid for this in the 77th minute as Stuart Beavon came close to taking the lead for Wycombe but Warrington made a smart save low down.
Three minutes to go, and Wycombe's intent for taking the three points was clear. They threw all their men forward and created chance after chance, but were still unable to convert anything.
