Rotherham United bounced back from Saturday's defeat at Bradford by taking a well earned point after a 1-1 draw at Exeter City.
Substitute Reuben Reid saved a point for the Millers by converting a second half penalty which cancelled out Exeter's first half opener from Ben Watson.
Exeter made a flying start to the game when a throw in was headed clear by Nick Fenton only to find Liam Sercombe but his rasping effort from 20 yards was tipped over at full stretch by David Stockdale.
On seven minutes the Millers registered their first effort of the game when a Ryan Taylor strike from 25 yards was easily held low down by Grecians 'keeper Paul Jones. Rotherham followed up the early effort with a spell of concerted pressure but despite the possession the Millers couldn't fashion a clear goal scoring effort.
On 19 minutes Taylor threatened again when he was fed by Peter Holmes but his effort from distance was well held at his near post by Jones. The Millers best effort of the half came after 35 minutes. Mark Hudson picked up the ball on the edge of the area and fizzed in a powerful drive which was well tipped over by Jones.
Exeter came back into the game as the half wore on and in the 37th minute Ryan Harley tried his luck from just inside the area but his dipping shot narrowly passed by Stockdale's right hand post. The Millers were given a further scare a minute later after Steve Tully's low centre found Dean Moxey who missed what looked like a half empty goal but the linesman saved his blushes by raising his flag for offside.
After 41 minutes the Grecians pressure was rewarded when Ian Sharps surrendered possession to Manny Panther whose low cross was converted in the six yard box by Watson from six yards out to leave Stockdale with no chance.

The Millers almost levelled in the 52nd minute when Holmes crossed to find Taylor who then laid the ball into the path of Dale Tonge whose ferocious strike was superbly tipped over by Jones.
Despite the Millers positive start to the half it was City who should have added a second in the 56th minute. Fenton pulled down Watson in the penalty area and the referee gave a penalty. Watson took the responsibility himself but Stockdale read the kick and made a spectacular one handed save high to his left.
The Millers were awarded a spot kick themselves when Fred Murray brought down Richie Barker in the 65th minute. Sub Reuben Reid stepped up and placed the ball confidently into the top corner past the despairing dive of Jones.
With just nine minutes remaining the Millers were almost punished when Stockdale dropped a cross which fell to Steve Basham but the subs effort was scrambled off the line with the goal gaping. In the 85th minute a diving header by Harley almost brought City the winner but Stockdale flung himself to his left and clawed away what looked like a certain goal.
