After a tough encounter against a hard working Hereford United side on Saturday, manager Ronnie Moore felt his Rotherham United side just about deserved the points after a keenly contested 90 minutes.
Paul Warne grabbed his first goal of the season, on his first start of the campaign, just before the break but the Millers had to withstand some intense pressure from the home side in the second half before clinching the three points.
"I thought that in the first half we played well and deserved to be in front," said Ronnie in his post match press conference.
"We were hanging on a little in the second half but they are a big side and they launched everything at us. We defended well and got a little bit of luck when Stuart Fleetwood missed a great chance, normally on a good day he would stick that into the back of the net. Overall I think we just about edged it and we got the three points which was the most important thing for us."
There is a full post match interview with Ronnie in audio mode after every game, and in a visual mode the following day that can only be accessed through Millers Player.
