Ronnie Moore was happy with the Millers display after a hard fought 0-0 draw with Morecambe at the Globe Arena.
The Millers maintained their unbeaten start to the league season with a good performance which saw them create several presentable goalscoring chances.
"I think that we just about shaded it," said Ronnie after the game.
"It was a great game of football, especially in the second half and both sides had good chances. It would have been nice to see Alfie's shot fly into the top corner in the second half but to be fair they have had chances to win when Rundle has put a couple past the post.
"I cannot fault the players effort and commitment. We tried to play the right way by getting the ball down and passing it. It was a great game for everyone watching it and I was pleased with the way we played, we just have to make sure that when we are on top of teams we kill them off."
The game was close throughout the 90 minutes and Ronnie believes that it typified the tightness of the division overall.
"I think that this season there are going to be a lot of games like this," he added.
"There isn't much between the sides; I don't think that there is an outstanding team that will run away with it. There are going to be so many draws at this level this season."
