Ronnie Moore piled more praise on his players after the Millers made it back-to-back league wins with a 2-1 victory over Lincoln City at Sincil Bank.
The Millers went in front through an Adam Le Fondre penalty after he was brought down by Moses Swaibu, who was then sent off, and added a second through Gary Roberts. Despite a late strike by Imps sub Steven Lennon, the Millers held on to move within three points of third placed Bury.
"It was a good game, there were times when we played really well, but give Lincoln some credit for hanging in there with 10 men," said Ronnie.
"We gave away a silly goal which was disappointing but overall I felt that we deserved to win it.
"We played some great football at times. For one move we played 10 or 12 passes right across the box, Popey's whipped it in and Alf has just got his toe on it but couldn't direct it. We needed a little more of that but I am not going to have a pop at the lads because it was a hard game and I am pleased with the result," he added.
Gary Roberts netted the crucial second goal and Ronnie was pleased with the attacking contribution of his midfield:
"It was a great finish and with a little bit of luck we might see more of that. Lawsy. Danny and Gary all got forward and that is something we need more of. At the end of the day I am just pleased that we have got two great wins which has put us right back in there again," Ronnie concluded.
