Millers not good enough, says Ronnie
Ronnie Moore was once again scathing at his players performance after the Millers fell to their second consecutive league defeat away at Darlington.
Goals from Tadhg Purcell and Gareth Waite were enough to see off the Millers who struggled to create any clear cut chances.
"It was embarrassing," admitted Ronnie after the game.
"I am embarrassed to lose six points to the bottom of the league and if the players aren't embarrassed then they want locking up. We changed the system today to try and get the ball on the floor but we kept pumping balls long. We have got players here who can play, pass, move and shoot but we just didn't see that today. We are miles better than that but we are off the pace at the moment, it's a matter of getting the players in and working hard, that starts tomorrow."
Darlington 'keeper Shane Redmond had very little to do which displeased Moore but he was also disappointed with the defending on both Darlington goals:
"We didn't test the goalkeeper but to be fair I don't think our 'keeper has had many saves to make," added Ronnie.
"The goals we gave away were comical. We couldn't deal with the long ball into the box for the first and the lad scores, we had four or five chances to clear the second goal and we didn't. When we did have a couple of half chances Alfie has put them past the post, on another day he scores."
