Ronnie Moore was very honest in his assessment of Rotherham United's performance after the Millers slipped to a 3-1 home defeat to AFC Bournemouth.
The Millers boss was unhappy with the display which saw Rotherham throw away a 1-0 lead at half time.
"For what was at stake, the performance by the players was totally unacceptable," said Ronnie.
"We had the chance to back into the top three, and a chance to go one point behind Bournemouth, but we turned in a poor performance. After the Chesterfield game I thought that we were very compact, solid and looked like a really good side and then tonight we put in a performance like that."
Ronnie did have some praise for striker Tom Pope who scored with a bullet header, which is now a goal in successive games for the Millers.
"Hopefully that is the start of a good run, but we need to get more balls into the box for him."
