Rotherham United Ladies
Rotherham United finished the year on a high when they demolished lower league Carcroft in the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Cup by notching up a resounding 12 - 0 win.
Four goals from Suzanne Davies and a brace from her sticker partner Natasha Carlton saw Carcroft buckle before Half time. Others on target for the Millers were Gemma McCool with only her first of the season and Hayley Woods finding the net with her first ever penalty and a good individual goal.
Helen Lynskey rounded off a comprehensive midfield performance and in form Kerry Longstone entering into the game with only 20mins to go saw her get another Brace to add to her previous goalscoring tally to round off the scoring.
Rotherham go into the Christmas break knowing their next game will be far more challenging when they play host to Portsmorth in the 4th Round of the FA Cup on the 6th January with a 1pm kick off, they will be hoping to turn over an earlier result against Pompey, as they also faced them in the Women's premier League Cup when they went out in extra time after a excellent 3 - 3 result.
