5K is OKAY for Community Sports Trust

Posted on: Thu 15 Jul 2010

The Millers' will be taking part in the 'Keep Your Eye on the Ball' 5K run this Sunday at Rother Valley Country Park.

The run has been organised by leading men's charity 'Everyman' in partnership with the PFA and F.A. The run aims to raise funds for research into testicular and prostate cancer, as well as raising awareness through the football community.

Health Officer Alex Wilson said; "The staff are really looking forward to the run, representing the Millers' and racing against the other local football clubs. I hope everyone can come down to cheer them on."

The Miller's will have someone special supporting them on Sunday, come down to Rother Valley on Sunday at 10am to find out who it is.

If you would like more information on living a healthy lifestyle or would like to discuss what health and fitness sessions are taking place in your area, contact Alex Wilson on health@rotherhamunited.net or telephone the Community Sports Trust on 01709 827767.
