Do you have any Rotherham United memorabilia from the 1940s and 1950s?

As part of our new From Coal to Goal project we are exploring the history of Rotherham United in the 40s and 50s. As well as interviewing former players and staff from this era we are also looking for as much information about the club from this period. The project also links with the mining industry as some of the players at that time worked down the mines.

We are urging all fans to search attics, basements and garages for any information that would be relevant to this project. Match day programmes, newspaper articles, pictures and autographs or anything of this nature would be vital to this project.

All items would be treated respectfully and returned after they have been archived.
