New signing Michael O'Connor picks up the number 10 jersey whilst fellow new boys Kari Arnason has four and Lionel Ainsworth has been given the number seven shirt.
Today's arrival David Noble will wear 19 for the new campaign, whilst the returning Ian Sharps reclaims the number five shirt.
"It's always an interesting and exciting time when the new squad numbers are announced," Evans told www.themillers.co.uk
"Nobody should read anything into what numbers have been allocated to each player, because the reality is that certain players at every club will request a number that they would like. So the reality is that certain players at every club request a number that has a personal meaning to them, such as a special date, a birthday or a previous number they have performed well in.
"It would be fair to say, we are now very close to having finalised our squad for the new season. The chairman Tony Stewart has been fantastic and I have no doubt if a special player at the right price becomes available then he will give me the go ahead to bring that player to the Millers."
