Birmingham City v Leeds United

Birmingham City have four points from their two home games thus far this season and are 11/10 with Sky Bet to pick up three more points against 5/2 shots Leeds, who have lost both away games this season.  The draw is 23/10. Leeds United did the double over Birmingham last season, including a 3-1 victory in this fixture back in April. A repeat of that scoreline is 33/1. Billy Sharp, looking to double his tally since joining Leeds, is a 13/2 chance to score the first goal of the game, while it’s Clayton Donaldson, at 11/2 in the same market, who is the shortest priced of the Blues contingent.
Top tip: Both teams to score at 5/6.

Blackburn Rovers v Wigan Athletic

The hosts are 7/5 to pick up their third Sky Bet Championship victory of the season in this Lancashire derby. The visitors are 19/10 in a clash between two sides sitting level on seven points after five games of the season. With the sides having made such similar starts to the campaign, the draw may attract some interest at 23/10. Rudy Gestede has three goals this season, and is 6/1 to open the scoring here behind 9/2 favourite Jordan Rhodes. Those fancying early action might be tempted by the 2/1 that two or more goals are scored in the first half.
Top tip: The draw at 23/10.

Blackpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Blackpool are still looking for their first point of their campaign but are odds-on to at least get something on the board here with Blackpool or Draw priced up at 10/11 in the double-chance market. Wolves are 4/5 to win, Blackpool 7/2 and a draw 5/2. Wolves currently sit third in the table with four wins on the board already, three of them by a 1-0 margin which can be backed at 5/1 here. Ishmael Miller is 8/1 to score the first goal, but it’s Nouha Dicko (9/2) and Bakary Sako (11/2) who are more favoured in the betting for the visitors.
Top tip: Both teams to score in the second half at 11/4.

Bolton Wanderers v Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday are 21/10 to continue their promising start to the Sky Bet Championship season with victory at Bolton Wanderers, who are still looking for a first win of the season and 5/4 to get it here. The draw is a 21/10 chance. Both the Owls’ league wins this season have come away from home. Jermaine Beckford is 6/4 to find the target for Bolton during the match and 11/2 to net the opening goal. It’s 100/30 that the match finishes in the draw and both teams find the net during the game.
Top tip: 1-1 draw at half-time at 13/2.

AFC Bournemouth v Rotherham United

The Cherries have started the campaign well and are 4/6 favourites with Sky Bet to pick up three points against Rotherham United (4/1) and register a third Championship victory of the season. The draw is 14/5. There have been emphatic results in all five of Rotherham’s league games so far this season, with all of those wins achieved ‘to nil’. Rotherham are 17/2 to win this match to nil, Bournemouth 15/8 to achieve the same result. It’s 10/11 that record is broken and both teams score in this match. The home side’s Callum Wilson is the favourite to score the match’s first goal at 7/2.
Top tip: Over 2.5 goals at 5/6.

Brentford v Brighton and Hove Albion

Two sides chasing a third victory of the Sky Bet Championship season clash at Griffin Park, with Brentford marginal favourites at 6/4 and Brighton 9/5 with the draw 9/4. Lewis Dunk scored both Brighton goals in a 2-2 draw with Charlton last time out, but he’s still a tasty-looking 20/1 to find the target again in this one. It’s 10/11 that both teams score during the game, while Brentford are 9/4 to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 in the Correct Score Group Betting. Leading the first goalscorer market is Andre Gray for the Bees and Seagull Sam Baldock, both at 6/1.
Top tip: Both teams to score in the first half at 9/2.

Cardiff City v Norwich City

Cardiff City are marginal favourites at 6/4 to win the battle of the two relegated clubs on Saturday while Norwich City can be backed at 7/4, with the draw available at 23/10. The hosts return from the international break hoping to end a two-game winless run having drawn and lost at Fulham and Wolves respectively in their most recent Sky Bet Championship games. The Canaries also drew 1-1 last time out but before then won three on the trot so will be hopeful of bagging another three points.  A tight game is expected, with over 2.5 goals priced at 11/10 (under 2.5 favoured at 4/6) while both teams to score is 4/5.  Norwich’s Lewis Grabban is 5/1 favourite to score first and 11/8 to net anytime, with Cardiff duo Adam Le Fondre and Kenwyne Jones available at 13/2 and 2/1 in the respective markets.
Top tip: Draw and under 2.5 goals at 11/4.

Charlton Athletic v Watford

Unbeaten Charlton Athletic have made a promising start to the season but they are still outsiders on home soil to get the better of high-flying Watford. The Addicks, who have won two and drawn three from their five Championship games, are 9/5 for victory while the Hornets are 7/5 to chalk up their fourth triumph on the spin. The draw is 12/5. Watford have netted four times in each of their last two league games and are 14/1 to repeat the trick in Oscar Garcia’s first game as boss. In what could be an open affair, over 2.5 goals is 5/6 while both teams to score is priced at 8/13. Troy Deeney is in red-hot form and can be backed at 5/1 to score first and 11/8 to net anytime, while Igor Vetokele heads the Charlton hopefuls at 11/2 and 6/4 respectively.
Top tip: Troy Deeney to score a brace at 8/1.

Huddersfield Town v Middlesbrough

Huddersfield Town find themselves at the wrong end of the table after five games and are therefore 21/10 outsiders against an inconsistent Middlesbrough side, who can be backed at 5/4. The fourth-bottom Terriers have have just one win to their name so far and although the visitors have only managed two, Boro were expecting at the start of the season to be challenging for a play-off spot. Both matches between the sides last season were draws and a repeat result is available at 12/5. Over 2.5 goals is priced at 10/11 while both teams to score is 8/11. Spanish Boro striker Kike is favourite to score first at 11/2 and 6/4 to net anytime, while Huddersfield’s most likely contender in these markets is Nahki Wells at 13/2 and 2/1.
Top Tip: Wells and Kike both to score at 15/2

Ipswich Town v Reading

Ipswich Town are 11/10 favourites to get their season up and running against Millwall, who could tempt the neutrals at 5/2 to chalk up their fourth win out of six. A draw is 23/10. The Tractor Boys haven’t tasted victory since beating Fulham on the opening day although the 1-1 draw at Derby last time out can be considered a good result while their opponents this weekend lie fifth in the table after a strong start to the season.  Goals may be in short supply as Sky Bet make it 8/13 that there are less than 2.5 (it’s 6/5 that there are more). David McGoldrick is favourite to score first at 9/2 and 5/4 to net anytime while Millwall’s Ricardo Fuller is 7/1 and 12/5 in the respective markets.
Top tip: Under 2/5 goals in the match at 8/13.

Reading v Fulham

The international break came at a bad time for Reading as they had just bounced back from two defeats with a win at Middlesbrough, but they are regarded favourites at 6/5 to overcome Fulham. The Cottagers, who lie second-bottom with just one point, are 11/5 to get their season up and running with a win, while the draw is 12/5. Both sides have managed just eight goals between them in the Championship so under 2.5 in this clash might make some appeal, while both teams to score is 4/6. Simon Cox, who netted the only goal at the Riverside, is 11/2 to net first once again and 6/4 to strike anytime during the match, while new signing Glenn Murray is available at the same prices. Ross McCormack leads the Fulham strikeforce at 6/1 and 7/4 in the same markets.
Top tip: Simon Cox and Glenn Murray both to score at 13/2.

Nottingham Forest v Derby County

Two fierce rivals collide at the City Ground on Sunday lunchtime as Nottingham Forest host Derby in front of the Sky Sports cameras. Sky Bet Championship leaders Forest, who remain unbeaten after four wins and a draw,  are favourites at 11/8 while their seventh-placed East Midlands neighbours are 19/10 to get back to winning ways after drawing with Ipswich last time out.  Forest and the Rams are among the highest scoring sides in the division but the hosts are 100/30 to win this to nil having only shipped three goals so far. Over 2.5 goals is 5/6 – as is under – while both teams to score is 4/6. Britt Assombalonga heads the first and anytime goalscorer markets at 9/2 and 5/4 respectively, while Derby’s Chris Martin can be backed at 5/1 and 11/8.
Top tip: Both teams to score in the first half at 7/2.
