Rotherham United v Blackburn Rovers

There isn’t much between Rotherham and Blackburn in the betting for Tuesday night’s clash at the New York Stadium. Visitors Blackburn are slight 6/4 favourites to claim victory with Rotherham available to back at 7/4. The draw can be supported at 12/5. Rotherham will be keen to get back on track in style after defeat at the weekend, whilst Blackburn battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Watford at the weekend. Rovers are on the edge of the play-off places but could be forced to settle for a draw from their trip to Yorkshire.

Top tip: Draw at 12/5

Tuesday:
Brighton and Hove Albion v Cardiff City

Brighton are the 19/20 favourites with Sky Bet to claim victory at home to Cardiff on Tuesday night. Sami Hyypia’s side are without a win though in five Sky Bet Championship games but have reached the fourth round of the Capital One Cup during that time. Cardiff can be backed at 14/5 to pick up the three points and the draw is available at 5/2. The Bluebirds won 2-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday but could find goals harder to come by against a Brighton side that has drawn their last two league matches 0-0. A repeat of that scoreline can be supported at 8/1.

Top tip: Under 2.5 goals at 4/6

Derby County v AFC Bournemouth

Derby are odds-on favourites at 19/20 to claim three points from their clash against AFC Bournemouth, who are outsiders at 13/5 for the victory. The draw can be backed at the same price. Derby are on a great run of form with no defeats in their last eight matches, with their most recent two games both 2-0 wins. Bournemouth also enter this game on the back of a couple of wins to nil, 2-0 at home to Wigan in the Sky Bet Championship and 3-0 away to Cardiff in the Capital One Cup. There’s plenty of attacking talent on show in this match so get with the 100/30 for both teams to score in the first half.

Top tip: Both teams to score in the first half at 100/30

Middlesbrough v Blackpool

Blackpool remain without a win this season as they prepare to travel to Middlesbrough. The Seasiders can be backed at 13/2 to end their wait for a three-point haul at the Riverside but Middlesbrough are priced up by Sky Bet as the 2/5 favourites. The draw is available at 18/5. Boro drew 0-0 at Charlton on Saturday and four of Blackpool’s last six games have seen one or no goals scored. Therefore it seems logical to look at backing under 1.5 goals at 11/4.

Top tip: Under 1.5 goals at 11/4

Millwall v Birmingham City

Both Millwall and Birmingham are looking to bounce back from 2-1 defeats at the weekend. Millwall have been made odds-on favourites at 10/11 for victory at the New Den by Sky Bet. Birmingham are the outsiders at 3/1 and the draw can be supported at 5/2. Both teams have scored in all three of Birmingham’s last three matches and two of Millwall’s previous three games. Get with the 5/6 for both sides to find the back of the net on Tuesday night.
Top tip: Both teams to score at 5/6

Norwich City v Charlton Athletic

Sky Bet Championship leaders Norwich host Charlton on Tuesday night. The Canaries are odds-on favourites at 4/9 to claim victory with the visitors out at 11/2 for the three points. The draw can be backed at 7/2. Norwich are unbeaten in the league since losing 1-0 at Wolves on the opening day of the season but will have to be wary of a Charlton side who sit on the fringes of the play-off places. Neil Adams’ Norwich have scored last in all bar one of their eight league games since defeat against Wolves and Charlton have only done so in one of their last six games. Norwich can be backed to net the last goal of the match at 8/15.

Top tip: Norwich to score the last goal at 8/15

Sheffield Wednesday v Ipswich Town
Sheffield Wednesday are 6/5 favourites as they look to improve upon their home form when Ipswich visit Hillsborough in the Sky Bet Championship. The Owls have won just one of their opening four games on home soil but are being backed to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat at Cardiff. Steve May tops the first goalscorer market with the League sponsor at 11/2 and it is 9/4 that the summer signing from St Johnstone scores in a Wednesday win. Ipswich have climbed to fifth after four successive victories and are 9/4 to maintain their winning run in South Yorkshire. The draw is on offer at 12/5. Daryl Murphy tops the Tractor Boys’ scoring chart with four so far in the league and he is a 13/2  chance to score the opening goal behind 6/1 favourite David McGoldrick.

Top tip: Under 2.5 goals at 8/11

Watford v Brentford
Watford are strong favourites at 19/20 to claim the three points at home this week, despite Brentford’s impressive win over Leeds last time out. It’s been an eventful week for the Hornets, however, with Billy McKinlay taking the reins following Oscar Garcia’s decision to step down. Nevertheless the new boss will be hoping that his side can kick on from two draws in their last two fixtures. It’s 13/5 with Sky Bet for the points to be shared, yet there has only been one draw between these sides in their last five meetings, with Watford winning the last two. Recent history highlights goals in this fixture – the last four games have all seen over 1.5 goals – and the hosts will be hoping for more goals from their frontrunners this week. Both Forestieri and Vydra have notched three times for their club this season and they lead the way in the goal scorer markets at 5/1 and 11/2 to net first respectively.

Top tip: Both teams to score in both halves at 12/1

Wigan Athletic v Nottingham Forest
Wigan are favourites for their Sky Bet Championship clash against high-flying Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night, despite failing to record a win in their last four matches. In fact the 18th-placed Latics go into the match after back-to-back defeats against Bournemouth and Ipswich, but won their last meeting with Forest at the DW Stadium 2-1, a 17/2 shot with the League sponsor this time around. Stuart Pearce's side remain unbeaten in the league this term but head to Wigan after successive goalless draws in the league. Two of the last three meetings between the sides have finished in score draws and a 1-1, 2-2 and 3-3 draw is available at 100/30. The division's top scorer Britt Assombalonga is 4/1 to net first for the visitors and is even-money to net at any stage during the 90 minutes, while Assombalonga to score in a Forest victory is a 15/8 shot.

Top tip:  Draw and both teams to score at 100/30

Wednesday:
Fulham v Bolton
After eight games without a win, Fulham finally secured all three points at Birmingham over the weekend. A win over Bolton will push them towards escaping the relegation zone and give caretaker boss Kit Symons a more than 2/1 chance – which he is currently - of taking over permanently. Bolton, on the other hand, took understandable positives from a narrow defeat last time on the road – when they lost to Chelsea in the League Cup – but find themselves 14/5 outsiders to go four points clear of this week’s opponents. The odds on Bolton may be enhanced due to their not having beaten Fulham in their last 10 clashes – losing six and drawing four. In that run, they have failed to score in their last five against The Cottagers with the hosts 9/4 to win the nil. Dougie Freedman’s men have conceded more first-half goals than any other side in the Sky Bet Championship this season so it may be worth an intereston Fulham at 6/4 on the half-time result market.

Top tip: First half to feature the most goals at 2/1

Leeds United v Reading
Leeds will be desperate to end an eight-match winless run against Reading when the sides meet in the Sky Bet Championship on Wednesday.  The Royals have a great record against Leeds winning their last four matches and keeping clean sheets in five of their last six games against the Whites. Despite that record both sides can't be separated in the betting by the League sponsor at 8/5 with the draw available at 12/5. Leeds go into the match after three wins in their last four at Elland Road and new boss Darko Milanic will be keen to bounce back after Saturday's setback at Brentford. Reading shared the points in a six-goal thriller with Wolves on Sunday and won the corresponding fixture 4-2 last season, a 66/1 shot with Sky Bet this time. Soulemayne Doukara is 6/1 to net the opener for the Whites, with Glen Murray the shortest priced of the visitors to net first.

Top tip: Over 3.5 goals at 2/1

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Huddersfield Town
Promoted Wolves are up to third in the Sky Bet Championship and odds-on favourites to maintain their 100 per cent home record here against Huddersfield. Kenny Jackett’s men have won all four games on home soil, conceding just one goal in the process and can be backed at 15/8 to win to nil. The Wolves goals have been shared around so far but Nouha Dicko, who has 15 goals in 27 league appearances since his move to the Midlands  in January, is 4/1 favourite to score first and it is 5/4 that he scores in a home win. Huddersfield recorded their first win in six league games when they beat Millwall 2-1 on Saturday with Nahki Wells bagging both goals after a four game drought. He is 12/5 to score in 90 minutes for Chris Powell’s men and 7/1 to score the opening goal of the game.

Top Tip: Wolves to win and under 2.5 goals in match at 11/4
