Millers set to support Tata Steel workers on Saturday...
Rotherham United will show their support to the workers at Tata Steel during Saturday’s game against Blackburn Rovers at AESSEAL New York Stadium.A banner will be paraded around the playing surface at around 2:45pm ahead of the game with Rovers to raise awareness amongst Rotherham United supporters.
The company recently confirmed that it was selling all of its assets, casting a shadow over thousands of steelworkers’ jobs across the UK, including those locally in Rotherham and Stocksbridge.
We feel that this campaign is one that may hold great significance to many of our supporters and encourage you to get in the ground early to show your support to the representatives from Tata Steel.
