Rotherham United’s youngsters will come up against more household name opposition in pre-season and will play a fixture at the national team’s training ground as part of their preparations for the 2015/16 campaign.
Successful friendlies with Manchester United and Hull City in the Under 14 and 15’s at AESSEAL New York Stadium have seen both the Red Devils and the Tigers accept friendly proposals for the Academy’s pre-season.
The Millers future stars are currently scheduled to open up their preparations for next season with a fixture against Leeds United on 15th July, before clashes with Manchester United, Hull City and York City throughout the rest of the month.
Matlock Town and Lincoln United provide the opposition in the early stages of August before a trip to St. George’s Park is on the agenda, with the date currently unconfirmed.
