Rotherham United’s pre-season plans are taking shape ahead of the 2015/16 season with six friendlies already in the diary.

The Millers are scheduled to kick off their preparations for next year’s Sky Bet Championship campaign with a double header of games on July 11th.

Steve Evans will divide his side up for fixtures at Grantham Town and Stocksbridge Park Steels, before they face a trip to Alfreton Town on Tuesday of the following week.

The Millers will then travel north for a tour of Scotland in which they will lock horns with Greenock Morton, Dundee and Partick Thistle before returning to South Yorkshire ahead of the new season.

The club are still in talks with a number of clubs who could potentially complete their pre-season calendar and an announcement will be made on the official website should any of these materialise.
