Grant Ward wins Young Player of the Year sponsored by Complete Utilities Solutions...

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Grant Ward has been awarded with the Rotherham United Young Player of the Year Award sponsored by Complete Utilities Solutions.

The 21-year-old, who signed for the Millers in pre-season, has been a virtual ever-present and has endeared himself to the AESSEAL New York Stadium faithful during his stint in South Yorkshire with his tireless running and exciting forward play.

The dynamic midfielder has featured both centrally and on the right for the Millers and has caught the eye with a number of impressive strikes including his televised goal from distance against Burnley earlier in the season.

His performances in recent weeks have impressed first team manager Neil Warnock and have been pivotal in the Millers turnaround which has seen them secure their place in the Sky Bet Championship for next season.

Academy graduate Jerry Yates and former Oldham Athletic forward Jonson Clarke-Harris ran Ward close for the award, but it was the Spurs loanee who was crowned as the Millers' Young Player of the Year.
