Striker Conor Sammon has returned to parent club Derby County.
The Irishman joined the Millers on loan in January and scored three times in 15 appearances, but with no game at the weekend the 28-year-old has been allowed to return to the Midlands early.
“Conor’s loan was due to end after Saturday but we received a request to allow him to go back early and with no game for us this weekend it made sense,” Steve Evans told www.themillers.co.uk
“We thank him for his efforts whilst with the Millers and we wish him well now for the rest of the season with Derby.”
Everyone at Rotherham United would like to thank Conor for his effort and commitment whilst at AESSEAL New York Stadium and we wish well for the future.
