Craig Morgan recently spoke to Millers Matchday...

Skipper Craig Morgan has issued a rallying cry to his Millers side, by declaring that they fight tooth and nail to make the most of their Championship opportunity.

Since the club's move to the AESSEAL New York Stadium two years ago, Steve Evans' men have enjoyed a meteoric rise up the English football pyramid, culminating in back-to-back promotions as they earned the right to pit their wits with Championship heavyweights for the first time in nine years.

Speaking exclusively to Millers Matchday recently, Morgan has made a passionate plea for everyone connected with the club to stay united as the club look to move clear of the relegation zone following the midweek victory over Bolton.

"We will always stay positive," he declared.

"We are proud of what we have done in the last couple of years. We have to work hard to stay in this division as we do not want to waste the progress we have made.

"We were not under any false pretensions that this league would be anything other than difficult, but as a club, we have to look forward.

"A couple of wins can take you away from the relegation area and we are very much looking up."

The Millers travel to Charlton Athletic this weekend for a 3pm kick off at The Valley.
