Rotherham United’s Purpose Media End of Season Awards Night on Saturday 30th April 2016 has now completely sold out.

The dinner, scheduled to take place at AESSEAL New York Stadium in the aftermath of the Millers’ Sky Bet Championship showdown with Blackburn Rovers, will once again be attended by a capacity crowd in the lounge.

Awards including Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year will be distributed on the night as well as an interactive vote to decide who takes home the coveted Goal of the Season trophy.

Head of Commercial Mark Hitchens, who has been instrumental in putting together the awards night sponsored by Purpose Media, has been delighted with the uptake from the Rotherham United fans and sponsors.

“I have been completely overwhelmed with the level of interest in this year’s awards night,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.

“From all my years at the club, the response to this particular evening has eclipsed all end of season events that I have been involved in.

“It promises to be a spectacular evening and from the guests that I have already spoken to, they are equally excited. It is always a pleasure to meet with the sponsors and fans and I enjoy going around the tables and having a drink and catching up with everyone who has been so supportive over the course of the season.”

The Millers firmed up their bid for Sky Bet Championship football next term with a comprehensive 4-0 win over relegation threatened MK Dons on Saturday and could tie up a place in the division before the Blackburn Rovers game which precedes the awards night.

“Hopefully we will have something to celebrate on the night and the players have put themselves in a great position to ensure that happens,” Hitchens continued.

“We have six cracking awards to give out and I know the players and staff are really looking forward to the evening.

“look forward to this event every season and there is no better way to sign off as the curtain falls on another successful campaign on and off the pitch."
