Neil Redfearn along with three members of his squad were on hand on Tuesday evening to help launch Parkgate Shopping’s annual Toy Appeal.
The event, which was hosted by Rother FM, saw the Millers join forces with long term club partners Parkgate Shopping as fans young and old had photos taken with the Millers boss, Lee Frecklington, Joe Newell and Frazer Richardson.
The Toy Appeal, now in its 10th year, passes on donated gifts to Children’s Services which are the distributed to indentified families in time for Christmas.
Choirs of children from local schools provided further entertainment to the crowds of supporters who braved the weather to help back the popular appeal.
“The Toy Appeal has always been a successful campaign and we were thrilled to be asked to help launch a very worthy cause,” said commercial director Steve Coakley.
“It was a pleasure to once again work alongside our partners at Parkgate Shopping who again put on a successful community event.”
