Our next Miller abroad is Mark Woodland from Houston Texas, USA...

1. When did you become a fan of Rotherham United?
I remember my first game being in 1989 vs Chester city at Millmoor, we won 5-0 and Bobby Williamson scored 2.

As a family we lived near Chester at the time so that game sticks in the memory.

I was also a mascot once against Chester City when they played their home games in Macclesfield and we won that game 2-1.

2. How do you follow the club?
Millers player - 9am every Saturday morning! 7am when I lived in Los Angeles!

Mid-week games are more difficult during the middle of the day and I'll try and block out an hour so I can listen to the 2nd half.

Sometimes we get games live on BeIN sports, last season Burnley at home and the two Wednesday games were shown live.

3. Do you ever have the opportunity to attend matches?
Flights are pretty expensive, but I look at the fixture list and try and get as many games in as I can.

My record as an 'ex pat Miller' is 2 wins, 1 draw 1 loss.

4. Have you always been a fan of the club from abroad?
Yes, you don't stop just because you move away.

I get more nervous listening on the radio than being at the game!

5. What are your greatest memories of Rotherham United?
The Auto Windscreens Shield final in 1996, back-to-back promotions with Ronnie and surviving in the Championship for as long as we did.

Another thing that will live long in the memory is the Tivoli end atmosphere when the whole ground was full at Millmoor

Thanks to Mark for getting in touch!
