Millers goalkeeper Scott Loach has joined Terry Skiverton’s Yeovil Town on an emergency loan deal.

The former Ipswich Town stopper joins the Glovers on the back of temporary stints at Bury and more recently Peterborough United.

Steve Evans told www.themillers.co.uk that the 26-year-old had caught the attention of the Somerset club whilst on loan at London Road:

“Scott played recently for Peterborough United down at Yeovil and apparently he was outstanding,” he exclaimed.

“I think Yeovil have an injury to their goalkeeper so Loachy’s name was noted so we had the option to send him out.”

The Millers chief continued to say that his goalkeeper would profit from the exposure to matchday action at Huish Park:

“It gives him the opportunity to play some first team football.

“The big man really enjoyed his period at Peterborough United where he did very well so we want him to go to Yeovil and get some more game time."
