St Marys Catholic Primary School 7 – 6 Maltby Lilly Hall
Halftime at the Rotherham United V Bolton match saw St Marys and Maltby Lilly Hall go head to head in the G4S Trophy match. The match began at slow pace but quickly picked up as players grew more confident. St Marys and Maltby were evenly matched as both teams gave each other few chances throughout the match.
At the end of the 8 minutes normal time both teams were unable to break each other down. As a result this led to sudden death penalties.Goal after goal, as both teams refused to miss but at the end St Marys won 7 – 6 on penalties. We would like to say well done to the teams for the way they conducted themselves at the match and whilst on the pitch playing.
