The Ferham Festival was organised in partnership with Ferham Community Group and a wide range of partners. Over 500 people attended the event taking part in a wide range of activities including a football tournament, inflatable football pitch, African drumming, arts and crafts and graffiti art all to the soundtrack of a live DJ. Advice and Information stalls were also provided to promote services that support the local community. The Mayor Maggi Clark was in attendance to present medals to every young person that took part in the tournament and to sample many of the activities on offer.

Mark Cummins Community Manager commented: “The event has been a real success, I would like to thank all of the steering group for supporting us in the organisation, promotion and delivery of the festival. It was fantastic to see the whole community coming together. I would like to thank Ferham Community Group for helping us organise what was such a positive event for the community.”
