Another strike from Andy Norfolk wasn’t enough to stop Rotherham United’s under 18s from falling to a 2-1 defeat against Burton Albion.
Norfolk pounced for his third goal of the season but despite heavy pressure late on the Millers couldn’t force an equaliser.
The Millers missed two good opportunities during a quiet first half by both teams before Burton hit Garreth Barker’s side with two goals just after half-time.
Barker’s side responded to the setback and a well worked move was expertly finished by Norfolk as the Millers pressed for a leveller.
Despite pushing for an equaliser the away side withstood the barrage to record a narrow victory.
