Apprenticeships recognised on national scale...

Rotherham United’s partners, 3AAA have been singled out for special recognition in the delivery of Professional Services Apprenticeships recently, being celebrated at the House of Lords.

3AAA recently provided sponsorship for the Millers’ warm-up shirts earlier this season and provide sponsorship on the back of the away shirts as well as an apprentice to the football club.

On Thursday 4th December, local Apprentices and Employers attended the prestigious 3aaa celebration awards which was held in the sumptuous surroundings of the House of Lords and hosted by Baroness Kennedy of the Shaws.

With a network of over 30 Apprenticeship Academies across England, 3aaa pride themselves on being a national company who offer a personal, local service and this was prevalent at this year's awards, which recognised both Employers and Apprentices. The presentation of the awards saw two South-Yorkshire based Employers receive the “Employer of the Year” award.

Both Castus and Cultrix were presented with the “Employer of the Year” awards for their success during 2014.

Gary Hides, Technical Director for Castus said “It was great to see 3aaa really give something back and appreciate the efforts of employers and Apprentices, with a fantastic awards event in the prestigious House of Lords. We were honoured to win an Employer of the year award and our Apprentices loved getting up on stage to accept the honour. Overall it was a great day and seeing those impressive young people being recognised for their hard work was brilliant.”

These awards came as no surprise as the skilled and passionate team in the 3aaa Academy, consisting of Recruiters, an Academy Manager, Trainers, Assessors and Compliance Officers always ensure that Employers and Apprentices receive a first class service during their OFSTED Grade 1 Apprenticeship experience.

3aaa co-owner, Di McEvoy-Robinson said “We are very proud to be celebrating the success of our Employers and Apprentices today. One of the key reasons for our recent outstanding Ofsted grade for every aspect of our business is that we have fantastic Employers and Apprentices. 3aaa is all about making life changing opportunities for young people and that’s why we are here today, to celebrate that and I am very proud”.
