Posted: Wed 15 Feb 2017

Ticket details confirmed...

The Millers entertain Sheffield Wednesday at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Tuesday 4th April, kick off 7.45pm.

Tickets for Rotherham United’s Sky Bet Championship game against Sheffield Wednesday are on sale now to supporters who have a purchase history with us which includes season ticket holders who wish to purchase any additional tickets for family or friends.

Tickets will go on general sale at 9am Monday 20th March, subject to availability.

Restrictions have been placed on this fixture due to Sheffield Wednesday advising us that the away end will sell out and to stop away supporters purchasing tickets in the home area’s of the ground. When the tickets go on general sale, any supporters who have not purchased tickets with us before will need to provide us with a recent utility bill and photographic ID before purchasing tickets.

Any visiting supporters found in home areas will be ejected from the stadium for breaching Ground Regulations. Any home fans purchasing tickets in the home areas of the stadium for away supporters may face further action from Rotherham United Football Club and we would ask everyone to bear this in mind when buying extra tickets.

The club will be communicating with Sheffield Wednesday FC to cross reference any new supporters who have purchased tickets in the home end to make sure that they are not away supporters. Should find that any away supporters have purchased tickets in the home areas of the ground, these tickets will be cancelled and will not work with the automated turnstile system.

Supporters have until 5pm Friday 31st March to register and after that time, ticket sales will be to supporters who have a purchase history with us.

The club would like to thank supporters for their understanding and co-operation as we prepare for this exciting fixture.

There is a limit of 5 tickets per supporter for this fixture as with any other fixtures at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Tickets are on sale from the ticket office at the AESSEAL New York Stadium and online at www.rotherhamunitedshop.co.uk

In some instances, when purchasing tickets from the Red & White Shop, proof of age or proof of eligibility will be required, for example when purchasing concessions in the form of senior, disabled, armed forces or students.

Although proof has been shown at the point of sale, it is advisable to carry some form of proof on match day in case of doubt at the turnstile. This will ensure that you are not delayed and do not miss kick off.  Your help in this matter is much appreciated. Should anyone be found to be entering the stadium on a concession ticket which they do not qualify for, the ticket will be void and a full price ticket will need to be purchased from the Red and White Shop.
