The Millers sign Jon Taylor from Peterborough United...
Rotherham United have broken their transfer record after completing a deal for Peterborough winger Jon Taylor, subject to EFL and FA ratification.
The Millers have paid an undisclosed fee for the former Shrewsbury ace, who has agreed terms on a three-year at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Taylor successfully completed a medical this morning before putting pen-to-paper to become boss Alan Stubbs’ sixth close season signing.
Taylor is a player who will be well known to Rotherham supporters after forging his career with Shrewsbury in League Two. He played against the Millers on a number of occasions, and after appearing well over 100 times for the Shrews, he moved to Peterborough in 2014.
He has been a regular in League One for Posh over the past two years, and last season scored 13 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions.
The 24-year-old joins Anthony Forde, Lewis Price, Jake Forster-Caskey, Will Vaulks and Kelvin Wilson in joining the Millers during the close season.
