Dominic Ball signs for Rotherham United...

Rotherham United have signed Tottenham Hotspur youngster Dominic Ball for an undisclosed fee, subject to FA and EFL ratification.

The 21-year-old central defender has agreed terms on a three year deal at AESSEAL New York Stadium and becomes Alan Stubbs’ ninth acquisition this summer.

Ball is a familiar face to Stubbs after playing against the Millers for Spurs during a pre-season behind closed doors friendly, whilst also coming up against Stubbs’ former club Hibernian during a loan spell with Rangers last season.

Ball, who can also play in midfield, also enjoyed a loan spell with Cambridge United in 2015.

The Welwyn Garden City-born operator represented Northern Ireland from under 15 level through to under 21s, before switching his allegiance to England in 2014.

Last season he played 30 times in all competitions for Rangers, helping the Gers to the Scottish Championship title and the Scottish Challenge Cup.
