After a successful year, the Future Stars Development Centre has finished for a summer break, and will be back on Saturday 10th September. In the meantime, there is plenty of activity to keep budding young footballers busy over the holidays, with our Future Stars Holiday Camps running every week at Wickersley & various other venues around Rotherham.
In addition to the holiday camps, the development centre will be hosting three grading sessions over the course of three Saturday mornings. The sessions will be FREE for all participants, and will be to determine which players will be invited into our development squads for next season. The grading sessions will start on Saturday 30th July, and running on Saturdays 6th & 13th August. We are hoping to see many of the children that we have worked with this year, either from the squads or community based sessions, but we are also hoping to see lots of new faces coming to join our growing development centre. Any players that don’t make it into our development squads will be invited to our open development sessions which will begin on September 10th.
Grading session times for Saturdays 30th July, 6th & 13th August are as follows:
U6/U7: 9am – 10am
U8/U9: 10am – 11am
U10/U11: 11am – 12pm
U12/U13: 12pm – 1pm
Players are welcome to turn up and book in on the day, or you can book in advance via e-mail to apilgrim@rotherhamunited.net with the following details:
