Rotherham United made it three league victories on the bounce after a 3-1 win over Macclesfield Town.
A stunning team goal finished by Adam Le Fondre opened the scoring for the Millers and they went further in front when Tom Pope headed in a second. Despite Matthew Tipton pulling one back for the home side the Millers finished the job off with a third from Danny Harrison.
Paul Warne, Le Fondre and Ian Sharps all returned to the Millers starting 11 and it was Warne who was straight into the action on two minutes when his shot from 20 yards was palmed wide by Jose Veiga.
The Millers continued to make the early running but it was Macclesfield with their first chance of the game who should have been in front. Ross Draper slid the ball through the centre of the Millers defence to put Tipton through on goal but the striker shot wide when one-on-one with Andy Warrington.
On 15 minutes Dale Tonge went close for the Millers when after a one-two with Pope his sharp strike on the angle was well saved by Veiga. Six minutes later and it was Pope who was causing problems again when his turn and shot in the area just eluded Le Fondre who was sliding in at the back post.
The Millers' positive start to the game was rewarded on 25 minutes with a fantastic opening goal. From a Macclesfield corner the Millers swept forward with some neat play down the right which resulted in a pinpoint cross by Warne which was headed in at the near post by Le Fondre.
Rotherham continued to dominate and after Pope had shot over on 26 minutes Harrison volleyed wide from just outside the area. It got better for the away side when they went two up on 37 minutes. Nicky Law curled in a disputed free kick which was headed in by Pope into the corner after he rose above the Town defence.
Macclesfield got back into the game just before the break when a long ball forward found Colin Daniel who squared for Tipton who slid the ball past Warrington from close range.

The home side were much better in the second half and took the game to the Millers. On 62 minutes Tipton again looked a threat when his shot from 20 yards was almost parried into his own net by Warrington, only for the Millers number one to save at the second attempt.
Rotherham lost Pope soon after when he was forced off with blood coming out of a gash in his ankle, he was replaced by Micky Cummins.
The Millers were forced to withstand some heavy Macclesfield pressure but almost added a third on the break. On 76 minutes a dangerous cross by Law into the near post was almost put through his own net by Paul Morgan but the post came to his rescue.
With the home side flooding forward in search of an equaliser the Millers went up the other end to seal the points. A low cross from the right by Tonge was diverted into Harrison's path by Ryan Taylor and the midfielder stroked the ball past Veiga into the bottom corner.
